“Edge is a metallic mode and has a clear and sharp character. It could be described as direct, bright and unrestrained, yet lighter and sharper than Overdrive. Edge is a non-breathy mode.
Edge can be found by maintaining a clear character and adding the distinct twang of the epiglottic funnel (as if imitating a duck).” – extract from CVI website.
